Before we start, you’ll tell me what your document must convey, who your audience is, and what you want them to do. I’ll edit for focus, organization, clarity, and pace. I will put myself in your readers’ shoes and ensure that no question is left unanswered. If I do my job well, you’ll say, “That’s exactly what I wanted to say, but better.”
